Jaguars DL Dawuane Smoot delivers newborn daughter at home

The Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman provided his newborn child, Ahlani Moon Smoot, in the house this morning,. Smoot's partner, Aumari, called for an emergency delivery as the couple did not have sufficient time to make it to the health center.

Both mommy and also daughter are succeeding.

Smoot, a fifth-year pro that was a third-round draft choose of Illinois, signed a two-year, $14 million contract to stick with the Jaguars in March.
